Carol & Jim

It's always fun to spend time with a family that has had time to mature and grow together for awhile. With two grown children in the mix, Jim and Carol's wedding was a great opportunity for us to make a portrait of a family over a day.

We got to shoot in legendary Vermond Park in Mequon, which we'd heard about for a long time but had never visited before. And then found ourselves at Shully's in Thiensville for the reception, a venue we hadn't seen in nine years. The tent Jim and Carol used is kept up half the year and is an elegant gem of a reception facility. Thiensville's best kept secret!
