Eron's Birthday

Hey, today is Eron's Birthday, please feel free to send him an email at

I don't know when we stop telling people our age, so I will leave it out, for now. But any love is always appreciated.

Sarah & Jason

I had a very nice time getting to meet Sarah and Jason and their very smart little girl. (Who informed me of what "four square" the game initials.)
I drove up to Madison to take picture at their home, and they have a lovely little home. We decided to stay around the home and show off the couple and family where they are a family.
I am looking forward to their intimate personal wedding in June.
Wait for more photos, the wedding is at the Overture Center in downtown Madison and its going to be beautiful.

Lisa & Chuck

Eron and I traveled to Omaha, NE last weekend for a great wedding. I had never stayed in Omaha before and found out what a great city it is. Wonderful people that are really friendly and caring.

Lisa and Chuck live in Phoenix now, but rumors flew about them moving to Omaha soon, we will have to wait and see...

I cannot thank the family enough for the love they showed us. They were kind enough to make sure we had a gift bag with wonderful goodies in it. They also made sure that we had access to a great hospitality room the whole weekend. I don't think I have ever been so full at a wedding.

We meet a lot of wonderful people this last weekend that I hope I will remain friends with for a long time.

I had the great honor and pleasure of being a part of my cousin Chuck and his new bride Lisa's wedding this weekend. It is rare to really be able to take all the photographs you want and still enjoy a wedding as literally part of the family.

My only regret was not saying something at the rehearsal dinner. Luckily, I had an 8.5 hour drive from Omaha to think about what I would have said. Here it is:

"Chuck and I were friends before we were cousins. We met in History class our freshman year in high school and found out weeks later that we are actually related. We got into our fair share of high school shenanigans including speeding through Glendale on the hoods of each others' cars. We're lucky we survived that.

When I was 15 and Chuck was, like, 19, OK he was 16, but he was already losing his hair so he had an air of "maturity", we drove to Arizona with my father. On this trip we discovered Waffle House and Chuck got his first speeding ticket. He also got his first glimpse of Arizona and decided at that point that someday he would live there. So, credit where credit is due, if it weren't for me, Chuck would have never met Lisa.

The first time I met Lisa was during one of my annual spring training trips to see the Brewers in Arizona and visit Chuck. After one evening with them, I knew they were going to be together for a long time. I told my family, 'Well, Chuck's met the one.'

Here's to Chuck finding Lisa and Lisa finding Chuck."

Jessica & John

Well when these two have grandchildren they are going to ask why Grandma and Grandpa were kissing in all of their wedding photos. Jessie and John are so cute, they have had time apart in their relationship and when they are together you can see why, they can't keep their hands off each-other.
It is pretty awesome to photograph such a loving couple. I asked Jessica's Father in the beginning of the day how was he doing, he told me to ask him at the end of the night.
So at the end of the night as he sat at a table with his new son in law John, holding an empty check book, and his wife's hand. I could see he was doing very well, happy and proud.
Happy Honeymoon Jessie and John thanks for having me as a part of your wonderful day.

Gracious Events & Catering

Front Room was recently invited to celebrate the opening of a new space at the Hide House. It is an old industrial space that has been converted into a wonderful event facility. Gracious Catering is providing the food and they can do event design.

As usual the food was amazing and the space looked pretty cool. I took a couple of quick photos, but I was enjoying being a guest.

If you are looking for a space for a corporate event or a wedding, this is nice change and something pretty different. And the best part is that you will have some amazing food with it.

Premiere Couture

Premiere Couture called us recently and asked us to do a shoot for their show this weekend. They are having a super cool designer from Colorado come in and showcase her veils. Sara Gabriel make some really cool and fun veils and headpieces that make me want to have my wife and I get married again.

They also made a video about the shoot which is pretty fun to watch.
