Krisitin & Zach

We went to the very spot Zach and Kristin had their first date and got engaged to make these images for them. It's always nice when the location for an Engagement Session has emotional significance.

It's also a fun change of pace to shoot pictures of friends, to make it into the realm where they find their comfort level together in front of your camera. Zach and Kristin have such a great time together, it wasn't much of a challenge. But it was a lot fun.

(Erin) Calfa & Tony

We are one day away from Calfa and Tony's wedding. The whole Front Room Family is up north in Baileys Harbor getting ready.

Sometimes, I can write about the couple, but this is one that leaves me pretty speechless. Calfa is like a little sister to me, Tony (T) is Tony. You always laugh and smile when he is around.

In seeing them together, I have noticed that Calfa can lean on him and get support, while T is melted just a little bit by her love. (Or maybe her great baking and ice cream skills.)

Either way, I completely approve of them getting married (I am a little over protective of Calfa, hence she gave me the nickname "Papa Bear") Tony is a great man that loves her dearly. Together they are happy. I couldn't ask for anything more for these two wonderful people.

Love, smiles and hugs,

Neil

Megan & Morgan

I consider myself very fortunate to be able to do something I love as "work." In doing this so called "work." (for me, work sounds so harsh) I have been able to meet wonderful people and families.

Last year I photographed Kristi & Dan, and now her sister is getting married. So not only do I get the pleasure of seeing a great family, but they have brought another wonderful family in for me to meet.

I met Megan and Morgan at his parents house and we took a stroll around their beautiful property.

Immediately they began to shine together. The were told that there would be a lot of kissing in the engagement session. However, without me even asking they started to sneak kisses with each other. ( I didn't even need to ask.)

In doing photography for 12 years, I have noticed a key to couples being truly happy. I believe that it is the moments in between life that make a marriage strong. Be it the hand holding, the unprompted kiss, or the tenderness in making sure the other is happy.

I am honored to have been asked to photograph this milestone in Megan and Morgan's life. They have a true love together and share it with all.

Smiles,

Neil

Yuliya & Andy

Yuliya and Andy have embraced, and been embraced by, the Front Room Family like they've always been here. Their appreciation for the art we make is unsurpassed. Neil and Eron will be shooting their wedding at the end of this month at the Heidel House and can't wait to meet the rest of their family and welcome all of them into ours.
